So I'm taking a little field trip tomorrow to do some life drawing, which will only be useful to me if the model is a woman. I guess you just never know. The last time we went I was so sure it was going to be the sweet little thing with killer hips and a pixie cut, but alas, it was a guy. A pretty hot guy, to be fair, but like I say, I guess you just never know.
I was on the front row, which was funny seeing as look about fourteen. I got the impression the guy thought he was corrupting an innocent, or something. He looked really worried.


Also also, I finally started reading Oryx and Crake (Margaret Atwood) and it's just... I'm not enjoying it. I'm not having as awesome of a time as I thought I would have It's very "bawww, my home life sucked as a child, I helped to ruin the world" and I hate the goddamn tone of it so much. She uses lots of short sentences in that way that's supposed to emphasise a point and make it very srs and all stoic and goddamn, I hate when people do that. Well, anyway :/ I DONT KNOW MAYBE I'LL START TO ENJOY IT? D:

... fuck it, I want to read some more John Wyndham! Where some huge, terrible scifi crisis happens, so the main guy has to go cruising around the country with his girl fixing everything. Ahhhh<3
